What you can apply for
Some people can get help in a few days. You may get fast help if any of these are true:
- The money your home gets this month is less than $150.
- You have $100 or less in cash and the bank.
- Your rent and utility bills are more than the money you have.
You can ask about fast help when you apply. The office will check if you qualify.
Need help?
You can apply without all your papers. You can fill in the rest later.
Your application goes to Maryland Department of Human Services, Family Investment Administration.
You can apply again any time.
