Privacy policy
This page tells you what we do with the answers you give when you apply for SNAP.
What we collect
We only ask for what we need. This includes:
- Names, birth dates, and your address
- Money your household gets and what you pay for housing
- Social Security numbers and immigration status, if you share them
How we use it
Your answers go to Maryland Department of Human Services, Family Investment Administration to decide if you can get food help. They may check your answers with other agencies.
We never sell your information. We do not use ad trackers on this site.
How we protect it
Your answers are sent in a safe way. Some items are extra private, like Social Security numbers. We store those in code, so they stay locked.
We use what you share about your status only to handle this form. Applying does not change your status here.
How long we keep it
If you start but do not send it, we delete your draft after a while. We keep sent applications as long as the agency needs them.
